Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network releases healed raccoons after six months
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – The Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network said it released a healed juvenile raccoon on Saturday who joined the group of five orphaned raccoons released last weekend.
SBWCN said that the juvenile raccoon released today has recovered from severe injuries, most likely caused by a vehicle collision.
Last weekend, SBWCN said it released five orphaned raccoons that were under care for six months.
