Special Online Meeting Focuses on Affordable Housing in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. (KEYT) - The City of Goleta is helping those looking for affordable housing and those hoping to rise out of homelessness.

There is a collaborative meeting with The Santa Barbara Alliance for Community Transformation (SB ACT) Monday at noon via zoom. (Information and a link is on the SB Act Instagram page.)

The city says there will be information on navigating the affordable housing process. Local experts will be on hand to share information regarding the application process and how to navigate the options around the Goleta Valley.

The meeting will help those who are interested cut through some of the process challenges.

Affordable housing is a serious concern in Goleta and the South County as a whole. It was referenced in the recent Goleta State of the City address.
