CAMBRIA, Calif. - One of the Central Coast's iconic holiday celebrations will not be taking place in 2020.

The organizers of the market said the popular attraction will be postponed to 2021.

The yearly holiday display brings thousands of people to the small coastal town, and is considered a must-see attraction for Christmas lovers.

A new limited experience will be held in place of the market this year.

Lights at Cambria Pines is a special event that will be available to guests who book an overnight package at a Moonstone Hotel Property, including the Cambria Pines LodgeJ. Patrick House, and Sea Otter Inn.

Tickets will not be available to the public

The Lights at Cambria Pines will have a smaller footprint than the usual Christmas Market. The display will have a one-way path where a reduced number of guests can enjoy the 2-million lights on display. Precautions are in place including increased sanitizing efforts and all employees and visitors will need to wear a face covering.

In addition, the train ride, food booths, vendor booths, and other activities will not be available this year for guest safety, due to COVID-19. But don’t fret! Everything from the tunnel of lights, down to Santa’s workshop, and back up the new path will be illuminated with amazing displays.
