Youthclusive students shine in “Spongebob the Musical”

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Fans of SpongeBob SquarePants enjoyed SpongeBob the Musical, a student-run production presented by the nonprofit Youthclusive.

The show ran over the weekend at Center Stage Theater in Paseo Nuevo Mall. Directed by a 14-year-old, the production featured local performers from 5th grade through high school. Students also designed the set, created costumes, and choreographed the dance routines.
