Oxnard City Council approves agreement with company to operate PACC

OXNARD, Calif. - The ongoing saga involving the future operations of the Oxnard Performing Arts Center may be wrapping up.

This week the Oxnard City Council approved a 5-year agreement with Sterling Venue Ventures to operate the auditorium.

The company puts on concerts at different venues across Southern California including the Ojai Libbey Bowl and the Canyon Club.

The future of the PACC had been up in the air for a while because of the city's budget deficit.

Oxnard proposed closing the PACC last year to save money.
