SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara County COVID-19 vaccine clinics are now offering walk-in appointments. California has opened the COVID-19 vaccines to everyone 16 and older. And in Santa Barbara County people can make an appointment or walk in to select locations.

Cottage Health started taking walk-in over the weekend. They are continuing with "no appointment" patients at the end of the week.

Santa Barbara Public Health, as of Tuesday morning, had 300 available walk-in openings for their Tuesday vaccination clinic at the Hilton on the Waterfront.

Nancy Lapolla is the vaccine clinic POD manager for Santa Barbara County Public Health. She said with walk-in availability no one has an excuse to not get vaccinated.

On Wednesday Public Health will host another COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Santa Maria. They will also accept walk-ins while supplies last. The clinic will be at Allan Hancock College at 800 S College Drive.

Cottage Health will have "non-appointment" vaccine time slots during their drive-thru clinic at Goleta Valley Medical Center at 351 S Patterson Avenue. The openings are on Thursday and Friday between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. while supplies last.

To schedule an appointment visit MyTurn or call 2-1-1.
