VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - 30th Logistics Readiness Squadron ground transportation operators at the Vandenberg Air Force Base moved a load of cots and tents to be used at the Federal Correctional Institution Lompoc during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Senior Airman Nicholette Alonge and Airman 1st Class Chance Pickell were among those moving the containers of cots and tents on Wednesday, April 22.

The Air Force Base said the supplies were requested by FCI Lompoc to enable the prison's staff to increase inmate physical separation during COVID-19.

Vandenberg said this loan of equipment is aimed at boosting interagency partnerships.
