Woman arrested in stolen motorhome following chase through Ventura Tuesday morning
VENTURA, Calif. – A 44-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday morning in a stolen motorhome following a brief chase through Ventura.

Ventura Police Department report that a motor officer witnessed a class C motorhome driving eastbound on the promenade near the south end of Sanjon Road around 7:38 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to Ventura Police Department, the driver of the motorhome failed to yield when a traffic stop was attempted by the motor officer and proceeded to drive on the promenade through State Beaches and onto San Pedro Street.
The motorhome stuck a City sign as it entered San Pedro Street and traveled through the Pierpont area before colliding with a parked car on Montauk Lane and reversing back into Seaward Avenue where it came to a stop detail Ventura Police Department.
The driver of the motorhome exited the vehicle, was arrested, and booked into Ventura County Jail on the following charges: felony evading arrest, hit and run, reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle, and a parole violation.
An investigation revealed that the motorhome had been reported stolen from a residence in west Ventura the previous evening explain Ventura Police Department.
