Fire crews responding to vegetation fire off Highway 101 south of Buellton
BUELLTON, Calif. – Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a 97-acre vegetation fire off Highway 101 south of Buellton.
Forward progress of the fire was stopped as of 3:31 p.m and the fire was fully contained around 6 p.m. on Monday relay Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Vegetation Fire UPDATE: The Grade Incident is now 100% contained and controlled as of 6pm (18:00 hrs).

According to California Highway Patrol, a single northbound lane of Highway 101 was closed in response to the fire from Old Coast Road to just south of the Pork Palace.

This was a second alarm fire with six water tankers assigned and some structures in the nearby area were threatened detail Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
