130th Annual Santa Barbara County Fair returns to Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Gates opened at 3pm for opening day, officially kicking off the 130th Santa Barbara County Fair.
Visitors are soaking up the sun, eating classic carnival treats and even catching a ride on the all new roller coaster attraction.
People say they look forward to this event every summer.
“We came down today knowing that it was the first day of the fair. We were one of the first people to come in and stand in line. We were so excited and beautiful weather to enjoy. Then they're going to have a wonderful concert tonight. So anybody that's at home come down here because it's going to be awesome," said Francis Brawner, from Nipomo.
The fair continues through Sunday. Kids get in free all day on Friday
