Deacon Hill to stay in Big Ten as he transfers to Iowa

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Deacon Hill called an audible.

The former Santa Barbara High School star quarterback is still transferring out of the University Wisconsin but he is not headed to Fordham in New York City but rather to Big Ten school Iowa.

Last week Hill announced he would be going to Fordham but changed to Iowa in a New York minute.

Hill was a 4-star recruit out of Santa Barbara and led the Dons to a CIF-SS title game appearance back in 2019.

The quarterback will have three years of eligibility left for the Hawkeyes.
