Wednesday morning forecast May 26th
Temperatures are much cooler Wednesday. The Central Coast will be in the 60s, the South Coast in the upper 60s to 70s, and interior areas in the 70s to 80s.
A trough is moving over our area and onshore flow is much stronger. The morning marine layer on the Central Coast will gradually clear to sunny skies again. Gusty winds are keeping the South Coast clear of low clouds.
With broad troughing continuing Thursday, temperatures will stay roughly the same. Another round of sundowner winds will likely call for advisories in Santa Barbara County.
Temperatures will rise slightly Friday with rising heights. Onshore flow will increase over the holiday weekend with a series of troughs.
Temperatures start warming slightly again early next week with weak ridging and and a thinner marine layer.
