Lompoc’s police: Missing woman with dementia located

LOMPOC, Calif. - A missing Lompoc woman with dementia was found on Monday afternoon.

The Lompoc Police Department reported an 88-year-old woman with dementia missing Monday morning.

Elissa Bishop was last seen leaving her home around 8:30 a.m. with plans to visit a restaurant. Police said Bishop she did not return home.

Police checked multiple local restaurants and were unable to locate her.

Police asked the public to help find Bishop.

She was reported to be found by police on Monday afternoon.
