Michael Donovan Cobb Jr. of Los Angeles Arrested For Sex Acts With a Minor Thursday

ATASCADERO, Calif. (KEYT) – On Thursday, Michael Donovan Cobb Jr., 36, of Los Angeles was arrested for multiple felonies related to sex crimes involving a local minor.

In August of this year, detectives learned that crimes were committed against a minor in Atascadero and an investigation identified the perpetrator as 36-year-old Michael Donovan Cobb Jr. shared the Atascadero Police Department in a press release Thursday.

On Oct. 15, detectives arrested Cobb Jr. in Los Angeles and transported him back to San Luis Obispo County noted the local police department.

According to Atascadero Police, Cobb Jr. was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on the following charges:

• PC 288(c)(1)–[Felony] Lewd Acts with a Child
• PC 288.2(a)(1)–[Felony] Sent Harmful Matter to a Minor
• PC 288.3(a)–[Felony] Contacting a Minor with Intent to Meet for Sex
• PC 289(i)–[Felony] Sexual Penetration of a Minor
• PC 288.4(b)–[Felony] Arranging to Meet Minor for Sex

The 36-year-old's bail has been set at $1 million added the Atascadero Police Department.
