Tracking a wet Monday

KEYT

Happy Monday! We begin the morning with light showers and drizzle from a low pressure system dropping into the area. Expect on and off again showers through the afternoon for many areas south of Point Conception. All pop up showers and thunderstorms will be fast moving and minimally impactful. Winds are breezy and temperatures are chilly. Bundle up and have some extra layers when headed out. High temperatures will be into the 60s and 70s for all.

Expect cool, breezy and damp conditions into Tuesday. We hold with some small chances for showers, but minimal rainfall totals. Highs reach 60s and 70s once again but the breeze may help make feels-like temperatures drop a few additional degrees.

We begin a rapid warming trend Wednesday and Thursday as winds turn offshore. Skies return to mostly sunny and the warming trend holds through the weekend. Santa Ana winds are likely at this time. more information to come.
