Tracking a large cooling trend this weekend

We start with another round of dense fog Thursday morning. Quick clearing and heating will occur today and many areas hold into the 80s, 90s and triple digits. This is the last day our our heatwave! All Heat Alerts expire by the evening and we already got rid of our Beach Hazard Statement. Be safe and enjoy the last day of heat!

More fog is likely Friday morning. A slower clearing trend is on board as high pressure begins to break down. Expect a dramatic cooling trend for most and many places falling 5-10 degrees. Onshore flow increases and it'll be a much more comfortable day.

We cool further Saturday and Sunday as low pressure swings into the coverage zone. This means out own personal air conditioning system will bring temperatures back into the 70s! More clouds are expected and rain chances rise! More information to come, but for now rain appears to be Sunday into Monday of next week.
