Tracking sweltering heat Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! We start the morning with clear skies and warm temperatures before the heat really cranks up at 10am. Many areas rise once again into the 90s and triple digits. High pressure is moving closer to the area bringing offshore flow. All Heat Alerts remain in effect through Thursday evening. Minimal day to day differences expected.

The more notable weather pattern shift is this weekend. We begin a drastic cooling trend and more marine clouds will be observed. Highs rise into the 70s and 80s for most. A low pressure system swings into the areas causing a 10-20% chance of showers Sunday and Monday of next week. More information to come.
