Heat lingers Friday, cooler weekend

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Temperatures will be slightly cooler Friday but most areas will linger in the 80s as high pressure weakens through early next week.

Saturday and Sunday will be noticeably cooler with many areas dropping 5 more more degrees into the 70s or low 80s.

Humidity will also drop off over the weekend creating a more dry feeling.

Temperatures will be their coolest by Tuesday but will remain near average around the mid 70s.

We will get a little warmer next Thursday as high pressure moves back west, upper 70s and 80s.

Mostly clear skies will prevail for the week outside of morning clouds especially for our western coasts.
