A Woman Has Died and A Man Had Moderate Injuries After Truck Crashes Off Black Road

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – A woman has died and a man had moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash off of Black Road, southwest of Santa Maria, Friday.

According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department, first responders from multiple agencies responded to the scene of a vehicle far off the roadway around 3:55 p.m. in the 5000 block of Black Road.

An adult woman was declared dead at the scene and an adult man with moderate injuries was transported from the scene to a local hospital for further medical treatment shared the emergency response agency.

The exact cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation and first responders remain on the scene as they process evidence to determine the official cause explained the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
