Ojai Pastor and Massage Therapist David Johnson Charged With Sexual Abuse of Two Children; Additional Survivors Expected

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – David Johnson, an Ojai pastor and massage therapist, has been charged with six felony counts of child molestation against two children under the age of 14.

Investigators believe that there may be additional survivors that have yet to come forward and anyone with more information is asked to Ventura County Sheriff's Office Detective Michael Loth at 805-384-4745.

During his arraignment this week, Johnson pled not guilty to all charged counts shared the Ventura County District Attorney's Office in a press release Wednesday.

According to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, Johnson worked as a pastor and massage therapist and has been accused of abusing two children under the age of 14 over several years in both Ojai and Oxnard.

His access to the survivors was through a familial relationship noted the local prosecutors office.

Johnson remains in custody without bail and he is next due in court for a bail hearing on Aug. 28 of this year shared the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.
