Tracking one more day of heat Thursday

Happy Thursday! The morning will be bright and warm for the south coastline while marine clouds fill the skies around most other beaches. This is our last day of heat for many areas. The Heat Advisory will be allowed to expire by 8pm. Winds will be breezy and some minor fire and heat risks remain. Overnight lows drop a few degrees from days prior. Some areas will see an increase in marine clouds overnight.

We begin a small cooldown Friday into the weekend. The cooling trend is most notable inland while beaches may only see a degree or two of a difference. Marine clouds over the weekend may change slightly, but no major pattern shifts are expected. Winds will be breezy every afternoon, marine waters stay calm. Expect 70s and low 80s for most.

We cool further Monday into the middle of next week. Many beaches hold in the 70s, while 80s and 90s can be expected inland. Minimal shifts into the end of the month.
