Traffic Backed Up on Highway 154 Near Stagecoach Road After Car Fire Wednesday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – A car fire has snarled traffic on Highway 154 near Stage Coach Road Wednesday.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, all occupants were able to safely exit the single vehicle and no injuries were reported from the scene.

Heavy traffic remains as both eastbound and westbound lanes are blocked as crews respond to the scene shared the California Department of Transportation.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area by using alternate routes and remain alert for the presence of emergency response vehicles added the transportation agency.
