This is Laufer's 4th year as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.

Some local cheerleaders are sheduled to take part in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Dance Clinic at Rio Mesa High School on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 3- 6 p.m.

Some of their youngest fans wore cheerleading outfits to watch them perform.

Adriana Ebell brought her daughter Marielena to see them.

They were both wowed.

Fan Carlos Santa Cruz came as a character called Phantom 22.

"I tell everybody I'm a cowboy fan from the womb all the way to the tomb, " said Santa Cruz.

People lined up to get Nate Newton and Charles Haley's autographs.

"This is an autographed picture and helmet of Nate Newton from the Dallas Cowboys," said Marcus Stout," I have been coming here for the last 20 plus years I am excited this is the best day every."

Team mascot Rowdy took part in the event, too.

The Collection staff said Oxnard Fan Night it great for businesses.

Each year fans come from far and wide and often stay at local hotels to visit the training camp on the River Ridge Fields.

The teams visits Oxnard to train for the cooler weather, but their arrival coincides with a heat wave.

Our sports director Mike Klan and Caleb Nguyen will have more on the Cowboys during sports.
