Tracking Santa Ana winds & a toasty Easter weekend

We start the morning with clear and bright skies as offshore winds as high pressure builds in. Northeasterly winds will stall any marine layer formation and brings temperatures up fast. Expect a 5-8 degree jump from yesterday. A new round of Wind Advisories will begin at 8am for the Ventura Coast and inland areas as Santa Ana winds begin this afternoon. Watch for gusts nearing 50mph. highs rise into the 70s and 80s! Overnight lows will drop into the 40s and 50s.

Due to strong offshore winds, marine layer influence and fog will be minimal through the holiday weekend. All clouds clear by daybreak and highs rise quite quickly. Most areas jump into the upper 70s and low 80s. Humidity values will be low, and it will be quite dry. Make sure to stay hydrated through the afternoon. Head to the beaches, grab a picnic or head over to the pool! More Santa Ana winds will impact Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties.
