Cooling Thursday, tracking winds & clouds
Temperatures begin to cool Thursday as more clouds move into the region.
Winds will be weaker on Wednesday evening but strong sundowners return on Thursday to the southwest coast.
Low pressure moving in over the next few days will increase our northerly winds speeds through the weekend, likely not calming until late Sunday or Monday.
A wind advisory will go in effect 4pm Thursday until 9am Friday with 20-30mph winds and up to 50 mph gusts possible.
Conditions hold in the low 70s for Solstice in Santa Barbara.
Temperatures remain below normal for many areas through early next week and onshore flow will keep coasts gloomy, especially in the mornings.
