One injured, three displaced after RV fire in Grover Beach

GROVER BEACH, Calif. – One person was hurt and three people were displaced from an RV fire in the 1100 block of West Grand Avenue in Grover Beach on Friday at 5:49 p.m.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, one person was removed from the RV, but the extent of their injuries has not been shared publicly.

Five Cities Fire Authority took out the fire by 6:00 p.m. which was caused by a portable propane heater in the vehicle.

Grover Beach officers broke a window to help the person from the RV before searching and ensuring no additional flames were present, according to the FCFA.

The injured person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and no emergency personnel suffered injuries from the incident, detailed the FCFA.

Two people chose to stay with family and friends after being displaced and the third is currently receiving aid from the Red Cross, explained the FCFA.
