One dead from solo car crash in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – One person died and another had minor injuries in a solo vehicle accident around 11:08 a.m. Saturday at 1690 O'Connor Way in San Luis Obispo, according to Cal Fire SLO.
The 21-year-old male driver of the car rolled over in his 2016 Ford Focus and lost control as his car collided with the bottom of an embankment, detailed SLO CHP.
The car then overturned and became airborne before crashing and killing a 20-year-old passenger who was also in the car, explained SLO CHP.
Drugs or alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash and the cause is still under investigation, according to SLO CHP.
