SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Power outages in Santa Barbara County are scheduled this week due to excess heat warnings and wildfire risks.

Outages can occur as soon as tomorrow in areas that include the Gaviota coast and the Highway 154 corridor according to Southern California Edison.

Residents across the county can check for outage statuses in their area on the SCE website and are advised to stay cool in the extreme heat.
