Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital the sight of police stand-off Wednesday

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital was the scene of a police-involved stand-off after a man placed a weapon on the ground and refused to move away Wednesday.

According to the Santa Barbara Police Department, the weapon is now known to have been a BB gun and additional police responded to the scene as a precautionary measure.
