Orchids delivered to postal workers in Santa Babrara and Goleta

Orchids

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Dream Foundation delivered orchids to United Sates Postal workers on Wednesday to thank them for delivering mail during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Flower donations were dropped off at four different post offices in Santa Barbara and Goleta.

The orchids were donated from Westerlay Orchids of Carpinteria to Flower Empower of the Dream Foundation to donate to hardworking locals.

"We're doing this because it's Westerlay Orchids way of saying "thank you" to all of the locals on the front lines. And say we take of each other. That's the beautiful thing about Santa Barbara," Dream Foundation Volunteer Deborah Ferris said.

About 400 flowers were delivered on Wednesday.
