Tracking a cooling trend Tuesday

Onshore flow strengthens today meaning a few degrees of cooling. Highs for the day will be in the 60s and 70s near the coast and 90s inland. With increased onshore flow we can expect the marine layer to make an appearance and areas of patchy fog to develop. Once the marine layer and fog subsides, the sun will peak through at times but partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected near the beaches today.

Wednesday will be the coolest day of the week as the high pressure continues to track towards the east and the sea breeze picks up. The sun will have its moments but the marine layer is expected in the morning and mid level clouds will stream through the area by the evening.

A slight warming trend is observed Thursday and temperatures continue to warm into the weekend. By Sunday highs around the region will be back above normal. More sunshine is expected for the later half of the workweek as well, summer will be back in full swing.
