Monday morning forecast Aug 24

It's the beginning of a fairly benign week, after last week brought hot temperatures and hazy skies. Temperatures will be in the low 90s inland and the 70s to 80s on the coast. The Five Cities area will remain cooler in the upper 60s with a strong marine layer.

We are beginning to see a pattern of low clouds from night into morning. Patchy fog and clouds will burn off leaving sunnier skies by afternoon. Because of the strong coastal marine layer, temperatures will cool on the coast slightly through midweek. However, temperatures will warm inland with sunnier skies.

Everywhere will start to see a slight warming trend on Wednesday or Thursday, with a nice breeze. Then, the marine layer will strengthen into the weekend, cooling everyone down by a couple of degrees.
