Friday evening forecast

Santa Barbara, Calif. - We had fantastic weather on Friday over the California Central Coast and South Coast, with a cool morning and a warmer than average afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Tonight we will have some areas of low clouds and fog moving onshore, but it will only last a few hours after sunrise. Overnight lows will range from the upper 30s to the upper 40s.

A ridge of high pressure keep our weather quiet on Saturday, but we'll have increasing clouds. Sunday will be a brighter day, but much winder for everyone and a High Wind Watch is in effect for the mountains and South Coast of Santa Barbara County Sunday and Monday. We'll have fewer clouds through Tuesday, more wind Wednesday and more sun next Thursday and Friday.

Overnight lows will be seasonably chilly inland and seasonably cool closer to the coast, with 30s in the valleys and upper 30s and 40s closer to the coasts. Daytime highs will cool to more seasonable levels through late next week with a wind Sunday and Wednesday. Highs will range from the upper 50s and lower 60s inland to mainly 60s closer to our coasts.
