Thursday evening forecast – Dec. 5

We had a lot of clouds over the California Central Coast and South Coast today, but only isolated rain showers to show for it. We will have a slight chance for light rain showers again late tonight and early tomorrow, but most areas will not receive any measurable rain. Overnight lows will range from the mid 40s inland to the mid 50s along the coast.

Another Pacific storm is aiming for the California coast. It will bring a slight chance for rain late Friday, but a much better chance for rain on Saturday followed by lingering rain showers on Sunday. We can expect fewer clouds early next week before a weak disturbance brings more clouds next Wednesday. We'll have more warmth and fewer clouds on Thursday.

Overnight lows will begin mild but will cool significantly next week when we lose most of the clouds. Valleys: 40s and 50s cooling to the 30s. Coasts: mid to upper 50s cooling to the upper 40s. Daytime highs will be consistent and seasonable for all areas, with the weekend being the coolest and warmest late next week. Highs mainly in the 60s for everyone.
