Salud Carbajal running for re-election in U.S. Congress, 24th District race
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Salud Carbajal is running for re-election in the U.S. Congress, 24th District race.
"I’m running for office to continue delivering for the central coast, to address the many priorities and challenges that the central coast faces," said Carbajal.
He said he wants to bring about solutions that address the lives of all residents on the Central Coast.
"That improves their quality of life and they continues to lift them up so they can all live the American dream," said Carbajal.
Carbajal said he thrives on providing great customer service to everyone who approaches his office.
He’s also pleased with legislative priorities he has pushed forward.
"The American rescue plan which helped so many businesses and institutions survive through this pandemic and stay afloat. I’m also proud of the bipartisan and infrastructure law that invested much resources in our infrastructure and thereby providing many jobs," said Carbajal.
Some of Carbajal’s top priorities include the stabilization of much of the costs people in the community are experiencing.
"For gas, for food, for housing, for healthcare, for formula, for healthcare premiums, and childcare. That is what our community needs right now. I’ve been working on those challenges and priorities in moving legislation forward that brings solutions to those everyday challenges that every family and every individual in our country and the central coast is currently experiencing.
If elected, Carbajal said he will continue to fight hard in Washington for the central coast.
"I have an open door policy. Everybody can contact me. And I am going to be focusing my work to continue to bring solutions to address the many challenges and priorities the central coast is facing," said Carbajal.
