Fire crews responded to 22-acre vegetation fire on Vandenberg Space Force Base Friday

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. (KEYT) – Federal firefighters responded to an approximately 22.8-acre fire at Vandenberg Space Force Base Friday afternoon.

Crews were first dispatched to fire around 1:07 p.m. Friday and no injuries have been mentioned from the scene.

According to Vandenberg Space Force Base's Public Affairs Office, flames were halted after burning a little over 22 acres of land between Space Launch Complex 4 and Space Launch Complex 3.
