Lakey Peterson is part of #staylocal campaign by the WSL

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- Santa Barbara native Lakey Peterson is encouraging people to support local businesses during this tough economic time because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Peterson is part of the #staylocal campaign of the World Surf League which matches the money that each pro surfer spends at a couple of their favorite hometown businesses.

Lakey Peterson is supporting Handlebar Coffee Roasters in Santa Barbara and A-Frame Surf Shop in Carpinteria.

Peterson is currently ranked #3 in the World in the WSL.
