SB Athletic Round Table wrap-up

Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table:

Girls Athlete of the Week: Elsie Tuttle San Marcos Cross Country: She finished third individually with a time of 18:29 in the 3-mile race as she led the Royals to a first place finish at the Santa Barbara County Championship.

Boys Athlete of the Week: Caeden Lee Dos Pueblos Football: He caught 6 passes for 66 yards including fourth down reception that kept the Chargers last minute game-winning drive alive in a 16-15 rivalry win over San Marcos. DP clinched a playoff spot.

Special Olympics Athletes of the Quarter:LaMarcus Briggs, Adam Ernst, Manny Gorgita and Arturo B. Montano (not pictured).

Northern Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table:

Girls Athlete of the Week: Paige Reynolds Santa Ynez Water Polo: She broke the school record with 178 career steals. She leads the Pirates in goals this year with 74 goals and is second on the team with 54 assists.

Boys Co-Athlete of the Week: Joey Duarte San Marcos Football: The lineman had 8 tackles with 3 for losses and one quarterback sack as the Pirates shutout Santa Maria 47-0 to win the Ocean League.

Boys Co-Athlete of the Week: Ulises Munoz Santa Maria Water Polo: He totaled 16 goals in two games last week, (Munoz could not make the luncheon).
