LONG BEACH, Calif. - These luncheons do not come around often for most high school football programs.

The 44th Annual Football Press Conference Luncheon included Santa Barbara High School for the first time since 1989 and the Pacifica Tritons for the first time ever.

The luncheon honors the teams that have advanced to the CIF-SS championship football games.

Out of 585 schools in the CIF Southern Section only about 30 qualify for the luncheon.

Santa Barbara will play Sunny Hills of Fullerton on Saturday, November 30 for the CIF-SS Division 8 title game. It will be at 7pm at San Marcos High School.

Pacifica will play in Whittier against La Serna on Saturday, November 30 for the D6 championship.
