UCSB holds off rival Cal Poly

UCSB beat Cal Poly 65-59.

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Anya Choice scored a game-high 17 points as UCSB built up a double-digit first half lead and held off Cal Poly 65-59.

The Gauchos led 38-26 at half as they outscored the Mustangs by 12 points in the second quarter.

Ila Lane had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as UCSB improved to 9-4 overall and 2-1 in the Big West.

Cal Poly is 1-3 in the Big West and were led by Taylor Lu who had 15 points.
