Khambray Antoine Holloway of Oxnard Convicted of Real Estate Fraud

KEYT News

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Khambray Antoine Holloway, 34, of Oxnard was convicted this week of filing a false or forged document in an attempt to steal an Oxnard home.

In July 2025, Holloway filed a fake notarized grant deed with the Ventura County Recorder's Office establishing him as the owner of a $4.8 million home in the Oxnard Shores neighborhood stated the Ventura County District Attorney's Office in a press release Friday.

The property was owned by a limited liability corporation and had not authorized the transfer of the property noted local prosecutors.

According to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, the forged real estate documents submitted by Holloway had notable irregularities including no signature from an authorized grantor and investigators later confirmed that the property owners did not authorize Holloway to transfer nor claim ownership of the property.

Regardless, Holloway continued to claim he owned the home and even attempted to have locksmiths change the locks at the residence by providing them the same documents he had provided to the Recorder's Office to prove ownership detailed the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

Holloway is next due in court for a sentencing hearing on Oct. 28, 2026, and he was remanded into custody following the announcement of his guilty verdict with bail set at $20,000 shared the local prosecutor's office.
