Brent Bischoff Now Facing Additional Human Trafficking Charges As More Survivors Come Forward

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Brent William Bischoff of Simi Valley has been charged in two cases involving eight survivors and multiple charges related to human trafficking after he was arrested for allegedly soliciting children for inappropriate acts at multiple locations around Moorpark High last month.

Bischoff is facing seven felony counts of causing a minor to engage in a commercial sex act, six felony counts of pandering a minor 16 or older, one felony count of pandering a minor under the age of 16, one felony count of pandering by encouraging, a felony forgery charge, and seven misdemeanor counts of child annoyance stated the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

The Ventura County District Attorney's Office also shared Bischoff is facing the special allegation that he was on probation mandatory supervision, post release community supervision, or parole at the time of the alleged offenses.

The 37-year-old was arraigned on both cases and pled not guilty to all charged counts added the local prosecutors office.

According to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, over the last month, Bischoff has allegedly approached multiple teenage girls and offering money for sex acts at multiple shopping centers around Moorpark High School.

Seven of the survivors are minors ranging in ages from 14 to 16 and the investigation into his alleged actions remains ongoing shared the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

Bischoff is next scheduled to appear in court for a bail review hearing on Oct. 2, 2026, and he remains in custody with bail set at $250,000 for his first case and $1 million in his second case noted the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

"These charges involve the exploitation of children, and our office will do everything in its power to
prosecute individuals who target vulnerable young people for commercial sex," District Attorney
Erik Nasarenko stated. "Parents and families should know that we are committed to protecting
children and vigorously charging those who prey on them."
