Camarillo Motorcyclist Dies After Crash on Santa Rosa Road Monday Evening

CAMARILLO, Calif. (KEYT) – A Camarillo motorcyclist has died after a single-vehicle crash on Santa Rosa Road Monday evening.

On Aug. 10, around 7:35 p.m., first responders were called to the intersection of Santa Rosa Road and Oak Canyon Road for a reported motorcyclist down in the lanes stated a press release from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office Tuesday.

Arriving deputies found a single adult man from Camarillo down in the center divider of Santa Rosa Road, just east of Oak Canyon Road, and deputies rendered emergency medical aid at the scene detailed the local sheriff's office.

Medical responders arrived shortly after and attempted life-saving measure before the Camarillo motorcyclist died from his injuries at the scene explained the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, an initial investigation indicates this was a single-vehicle collision and the local medical examiner's office is now tasked with contacting the motorcylist's next of kin.
