Two men and a juvenile arrested for robbery, kidnapping and carjacking Wednesday

VENTURA, Calif. (KEYT) – Two adult men and a juvenile were arrested in connection with a robbery and carjacking that also involved a brief kidnapping on Wednesday.

On the morning of March 25, 2026, a man parked his car near his home when he was confronted by several people stated a press release from the Ventura Police Department.

One of the suspects held the victim while another robbed him and then the group took the man's keys before forcing him into the vehicle and driving away detailed the Ventura Police Department.

The victim was released shortly after and he called the local police to report the crime shared the Ventura Police Department.

According to Ventura Police, the stolen vehicle was spotted several hours later by patrol officers and inside were three people, two 20-year-olds and a juvenile male.

All three were taken into custody and booked with carjacking, robbery, kidnapping, possession of a stolen vehicle, conspiracy to commit a crime and participation in a criminal street gang noted the Ventura Police Department.
