Oxnard man arrested for multiple gun-related charges after residential search on January 9

OXNARD, Calif. – A 63-year-old Oxnard man was arrested and booked on multiple gun-related charges after a search warrant was executed at his residence on Jan. 9.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, several complaints were filed with their agency during the latter part of 2023 about possible drug activity in the area of the 3400 block of Frankfort Court.

The investigation into those complaints was taken over by the Oxnard Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit which identified the 63-year-old man after an investigation and enough evidence was gathered to get a search warrant issued for his residence explain Oxnard Police Department.

On Jan. 9, 2024, Oxnard Police Department's SWAT Team executed the search warrant alongside detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit and discovered several loaded unregistered semi-automatic handguns and a fully automatic pistol detail Oxnard Police Department.

Oxnard Police Department state that a vehicle previously reported as stolen, was located and recovered from the rear yard of the residence.

The 63-year-old was booked into the Ventura County Sheriff's Pre-Trial Detention Facility on several gun-related charges detail Oxnard Police Department.
