One man transported with critical injuries after being hit by a train in Oxnard Wednesday

OXNARD, Calif. – Oxnard Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a train versus a pedestrian near the Oxnard Boulevard overpass Wednesday.

According to Oxnard Fire Department, the male pedestrian was transported with critical injuries to Ventura County Medical Center.

The call initially came in around 11:32 a.m. and six Oxnard Fire units, one ambulance, and one ambulance supervisor responded to the call detail Oxnard Fire Department.

First responders remain on the scene and more information will be added to this article as it becomes available.
