Local hospital ranks top 15% in the nation

VENTURA, Calif. – Securing the highest possible rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura cell-ebrates receiving five stars.

Beyond claiming the first and only hospital in Ventura County to receive five stars, data collected to grant this status was collected between 2021 and 2022 — at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
