Two hospitalized after crash on Highway 135 near Orcutt
ORCUTT, Calif. -- Two people are in the hospital after a crash on Highway 135 near Orcutt.
It happened at 11:59 Friday night, two miles north of Graciosa Road.
Santa Barbara County Fire said two cars were involved in the crash.
Firefighters extricated two people from the vehicles.
One person was flown to Cottage Hospital to get treatment, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital via ambulance.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
Traffic controls were in place on Highway 135 due to the crash.
Fire crews remained on scene to help clean the roadway and assist officers with their investigation.
