Firefighters respond to wildland fire in the Santa Maria Riverbed Wednesday

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – San Luis Obispo County Fire Department responded to the scene of a wildland fire in the Santa Maria Riverbed Wednesday afternoon.

According to San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, the fire is currently completely contained at about an eighth of an acre. Fire crews will remain on the scene to clean up and monitor the scene.
