Orcutt man reacts to Alzheimer’s disease treatment break through
SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Tony Gonzales is a board member with the Alzheimer’s Association. He spoke before congress in May in support of access to treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.
Since then, there has been a breakthrough. Just two weeks ago, Leqembi received FDA approval.
This treatment slows down the progress of the disease.
Gonzales says this treatment can add years to his life which means spending more time with his family and grandchildren.
Tony’s advice to all people - regardless if they have the disease or not - is to live for today because he says tomorrow is never promised.
